This driveway project in Whittle-le-Woods combines two contrasting surfaces to create a distinctive new entrance to the property. Marshalls Savanna block paving in Autumn was laid through the centre of the driveway, with its warm natural tones complementing the brickwork of the house.
A dark block border follows the curved shape of the driveway, defining the central paved area and creating a clear separation between the different surfaces. Daltex Cappuccino resin bound surfacing was then installed along both sides, continuing around the front of the property and garage.
The combination of block paving and resin bound surfacing makes good use of the wide driveway while giving each section a clear definition. The warm Cappuccino resin works particularly well alongside the Autumn block paving, while the darker edging provides a strong contrast and follows the sweeping curves of the driveway.
The finished driveway provides a smart, welcoming entrance with plenty of room for parking and easy access to the house and garage.
